THE TECHNOLOGY / EXPLAINED

How it works

A proposed path from a physical pearl to a digital asset record. The chain is one part of the system.

01A tangible starting point

RWA stands for real-world assets. PEARL is a concept for connecting a physical pearl to a digital record that explains what it is, where its documentation comes from and what terms apply.

The intended experience starts with the pearl, then adds evidence and a record that can be inspected. A token alone does not establish the existence, authenticity or ownership of the physical item.

02Describe the asset before issuing a token

A proposed PEARL listing would need a unique asset identifier, detailed photographs and a description of the pearl. Characteristics such as dimensions, shape, color, luster and surface condition would need to be recorded consistently.

Origin and grading claims would need supporting documents and identifiable issuers. The asset passport would distinguish supplied information from independently verified evidence, with dates and document references.

03A passport for the supporting evidence

The digital passport is the proposed link between the item and its documentation. It would bring the asset description, document references, custody status and applicable terms into a single view.

A future implementation could record document hashes on-chain. A hash is a fingerprint of a specific file: it can help detect a changed file when compared with the recorded value. It does not establish whether the original document is truthful or whether the pearl matches it.

Updates would need clear authorship and version history. Sensitive documents and personal information would require a separate access policy rather than being published openly on-chain.

04The pearl needs a physical home

Before any asset-backed offering, the project would need an identified custodian, procedures for matching the pearl to its record, and clear terms for storage, inspection, loss and delivery.

Token-holder rights would need to be defined separately: what the holder owns or can claim, who is responsible for fulfilling that claim, and whether redemption or transfer is permitted. These arrangements have not been established for this preview.

The physical and digital layers must agree.

A wallet transfer does not move a pearl between vaults or automatically create a right to redeem it.

05Where Solana would fit

Solana is the intended network for the digital layer. A future implementation could use a token mint to identify an issued token and associate it with a specific asset record and published terms.

The issuance model, transfer rules, program permissions and redemption mechanism remain to be designed and reviewed. Whether a token represents a whole asset, a contractual claim or another form of access must be explicit before issuance.

This website has no deployed PEARL mint and does not request wallet signatures, accept deposits or issue tokens. The interface shows the proposed structure, not a functioning asset market.

06From onboarding to redemption

  1. Document

Identify the item and collect its supporting evidence.

  2. Verify & hold

Establish assessment, custody and the applicable terms.

  3. Issue & maintain

Link the authorized issuance to the asset record and keep relevant information current.

  4. Redeem or close

Follow the defined claim process and reconcile the physical asset with its digital record.

These are proposed stages, not services currently offered by PEARL. Availability, costs, delivery arrangements and eligibility would need to be defined before launch.

Does PEARL currently represent verified physical pearls?

No. The pearl shown here is original pixel artwork. No inventory, valuation, custody arrangement or asset backing is claimed for this preview.

Can I buy or redeem a PEARL token?

Not through this site. There is no deployed token or active purchase or redemption flow.

THE PEARL PHILOSOPHY

Value has a story.
Make it readable.

Layers form a pearl. Evidence builds understanding.

PEARL brings that idea to an asset interface: a recognizable item, a traceable record and clearly stated rights. One layer at a time.
